Priority Assistance to Transition Home (PATH) in Northeastern Ontario

This program has been developed to avoid hospital admissions, reduce length of stay and prevent re-admission to hospitals. PATH provides support services to patients being discharged from hospital who require help to transition safely, smoothly, and comfortably and are at risk of re-admission.

Supporting Dialysis Patients at Camp Dorset

Each spring, Baxter employees participate in a clean-up day at Camp Dorset, a summer camp for dialysis patients located in Dorset, Ontario. Camp Dorset is a special place that offers patients on dialysis and their families the opportunity to relax and spend time together on vacation.

Employees do everything from weeding gardens, cleaning windows, washing floors to painting tables and chairs, all to help dialysis patients and their families enjoy time together away from a hospital setting.
